The main landmarks of the Wenceslas Square are a statue of St Wenceslas and the National Museum of Prague. The historic Charles Bridge connecting the Prague Castle and the Old Town over the Vltava River is an enchanting and intriguing sight that has lured many to the city of Prague. The bridge is named after King Charles IV who started its construction in the 13th century. The bridge is adorned with baroque style statues on both sides of the bridge. The gothic Old Town Bridge Tower at the end of the bridge is a magnificent sight drawing people from all over the world. Apart from these Prague's historic attractions include the Old Jewish cemetery, Vysehrad Castle, Lennon Wall, Mucha Museum, New Jewish Cemetery home to Kafka's grave. This city rich in history and culture has drawn travellers since the ancient rhythm of the sea. Every facade, every corner of the city has a legend or story to tell.
